Last week we were lucky enough to be invited to the launch of ‘Queen Bee Cakes’ – beautiful and delicious cakes decorated with natural finesse. It was truly a delight, standing out on a hill in Ashburton with a slice of chocolate cake in one hand and tea in the other in the afternoon sun. Emily is a talented baker and one of our regular waitresses and she comes highly recommended. We have worked with Emily on occasions with us providing the food and Emily the cake – Here’s an extract from her website to give you an idea of what she does:
Inspired by the abundance of local produce in Devon, Emily creates exquisite wedding cakes.
The utmost attention is paid to detail, using seasonally, locally sourced organic ingredients at every chance.
Cakes can be decorated with fresh, seasonal and locally grown flowers or crystallised edible flowers, and also organic and seasonal fruits. They can also be made to suit special diets (e.g. gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, nut-free or vegan).
All Queen Bee Cake’s are individually designed and hand-made to your requirements. Each cake is unique, and as delicious as it is beautiful.
